This Privacy Policy explains how Cafe Live ("Cafe Live", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Cafe Live mobile application (the "App"), a multi-stream viewer that lets you watch up to four live broadcasts from supported platforms (Twitch, YouTube, and Kick) side by side on one screen, record short clips, and save your favorite channels. By using the App you agree to this Policy.

Summary

No account is required. Your saved channels, clips, and preferences are stored on your device.
Cafe Live does not host any video. Live broadcasts play through each platform's official embedded player, and your viewing on those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.
We use industry-standard tools (Firebase, Adjust) for push notifications, crash diagnostics, and measuring how the App is installed and used.
Advertising/measurement identifiers are used only with your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. The App has no sign-up. The channels you add to your wall, the channels you save, an optional display name, and any short clips you record are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this content to our servers.

Information collected automatically. To operate and improve the App, we and our service providers may process:

Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone).
A push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you enable notifications.
Identifiers such as the Identifier for Vendor (IDFV) and, only if you grant permission, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
Marketing attribution and basic usage/diagnostic events (via Adjust) to understand installs and engagement.
Approximate region inferred from your IP address by our service providers.

Camera & Microphone

Camera and microphone access is requested only if you choose to record a clip with the App's recorder. Clips you record stay on your device in the App's storage until you delete them; we do not upload them. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Location

The App does not access your device's GPS location.

Third-Party Streaming Platforms

Cafe Live is an independent viewer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or any other platform. Broadcasts are displayed through each platform's official embed player. When you watch a stream, that platform may set cookies and collect data as described in its own privacy policy. Your relationship with those platforms — including any account, subscription, or purchase — is governed entirely by them.

How We Use Information

To load the streams you add to your wall and deliver notifications you've enabled.
To measure installs, performance, and engagement so we can improve the App.
To diagnose crashes and keep the App reliable, safe, and secure.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy. They may collect device identifiers and diagnostic data as described above:

Google Firebase (push notifications, analytics, crash diagnostics) — policy

App Tracking Transparency

Where required, we show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier (IDFA) is accessed. If you decline, the App continues to work and no IDFA is used. You can change your choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Data Retention

Saved channels, clips, and preferences stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Diagnostic and attribution data are retained by our providers for limited periods in line with their policies.

Your Choices & Rights

Disable notifications, camera/microphone access, or tracking at any time in iOS Settings.
Delete saved channels and clips from within the App, or remove all app data by uninstalling the App.

Children

Cafe Live is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some third-party streams may be subject to their platform's own age restrictions.

Content Disclaimer

All broadcasts are created and hosted by third parties on their respective platforms. Cafe Live does not control, review, or endorse that content and is not responsible for it.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
